I Did not Expect this much
I did not expect this much from homeschooling. And no im not talking about the school work. Though writing the plan and sorting out the outcomes was a challenge at the beginning. What I didn't expect was the strength and abilities that came from me, by stepping up as a parent and as a teacher. I forgot how smart I was academically - But more importantly my daughter was able to learn at her pace, she was able to deep dive into topics that interested her both in the school outcome requirements and outside. People say "I could not teach my child. I'm not smart enough". To me this is a falacy. We have been conditioner to feel like we can only do things within a box and anything that I out of what Society says is norm is just not achievable.
